Our Story
Leadership
Alistair Elder is SGI’s Managing Partner. He spent 16 years as a UK diplomat serving in a number of roles and countries with his final posting being Trade Development in India.
He then joined the private sector working in both Prime and SME environments where he has held several ED/NED positions.
Reinforcing the value of his extensive experience in the business community, Alistair is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD), Institute of Export (IoE) and the Association of Proposal Management Professionals.
Alistair is also an IoD Regional Ambassador for International Trade and sits on the Board of Governors at a Junior Academy in West Sussex.
Proven Experience
Alistair has driven key market development, market entry, client engagement, turnaround and transformation programmes that delivered organisational success and shareholder value. Alistair has managed services and clients across several dozen markets.
These outcomes have consistently surpassed goals and boosting revenues while managing business costs. This was delivered in several ways through driving significant organisational change covering restructuring, organisational design and education of internal and external stakeholders.
